Tunde Adenodi, however, is not alone in the rural dog behavior. Tunde Adenodi, an ex-soldier will depart this world with a mark in his brain, a propaganda engendered irrational reaction to Odumegwu-Ojukwu and Biafra. Too, the Yoruba were the first group in Nigeria to adopt Western bureaucratic social norms. Both men and women wore wrappers. The fellow named Tunde Adenodi reminds one of a rural dog that will never leave the site of excreta. Tunde Adenodi is consumed every second of every day, every minute of everyday and every hour of everyday with the thought of discerning for the Igbo what they should think, how they should think, who Igbo leader should be and who the Igbo should present as leader. Tunde Adenodi, however, is not alone in the rural dog behavior. Warped, irrational thought of the Igbo and their icon Odumegwu-Ojukwu is, as I have written a while back, a psychosis of the Yoruba, with just a few exceptions, a negligible exception. Let me for a moment assume that we are dealing in the realm of matrimony or courting of the female by the male; Tunde Adenodi do not know, but should know — shame on him - that some women are good just for dating and some are good for marriage. Even dating the Yoruba is a dangerous engagement. This Nigerians all are in agreement; the colonialists who put together the cage called Nigeria understood this of the Yoruba and stated as much albeit not in this exact term. The Igbo, of all the races and nations in the British cage — Nigeria - are in a unique position to know — what a dangerous liaison it is to date the Yoruba. It was Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, who reclaimed Yoruba land for the Yoruba. Odumegwu-Ojukwu was the Yoruba liberator. Yet, the Igbo occupy that unique position of knowledge of what danger abound in a liaison with the Yoruba. The Igbo from Zik of Africa to the Igbo icon HE Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu knew what danger abounds in dating a Yoruba. But barely weeks later, in a treachery of historical proportions, the same Awolowo engineered and commenced a plan to starve the same Igbo to death. This was only 34 years ago. How soon do dubious characters like Tunde Adenodi forget? The Akinloye exercise commenced with the courting of the Yoruba then in the 50s or thereabouts by Zik of Africa, an Igbo. That courting of the Yoruba resulted in such treacherous political sell-out that is yet to be replicated in the Nigerian political terrain where Zik then was poised to be premier of western region, only to be ditched hours later by a well-orchestrated Yoruba treachery. It is interesting to me for I had the opportunity of meeting these two Yoruba fellows up close — Akinloye and Awolowo; also Moshood Abiola and Olusegun Obasanjo for whom I worked to propagate like all other Nigerian leaders — till he, Obasanjo showed the bumbling incompetent that he is and like a curse, turned Nigeria on its head. I have been there, done that as far as assisting Nigerian leaders in my little way — putting my energy, my time and my money where mouth is, as they say - from Shagari to the current Aremu. My assistance in the endeavors of these persons had not a thing to do with their ethnicity — in fact Nigerian leaders since my age of discerning have all been non-Igbo. But I do recall reading a Yoruba who wrote that Ojukwu ruled Nigeria! My assistance and that of my friends was for a better place — Nigeria. That was two decades plus and counting; yet today, no clear-sighted sensible being can truly say, this place, Nigeria, is any better. And it is not as if nobody knows why. Then I got on the cyberspace just about two and half to three years ago, and actually read lies and tricks put down in writing. Just recently a friend recalled our days of pure unalloyed engagements as gung-ho Nigerians in significant positions in Nigeria as well as abroad, and mocked especially my naiveté in not being aware how those of other ethnic groups regarded and dealt with the Igbo. Who is that Nigerian that has truth as his or her motto that will deny that Achebe spoke the truth? Thanks to my naïve innocence, however, I can boast of bosom non-Igbo friends who will remain my friends and that includes the Yoruba. Do you hear me Shola, Dele, Deji and those whose names I cannot readily recall. As far as now knowing, understanding and having the true feel of the Nigerian environment, I have to thank the Tunde Adenodis of the world for my wake up. No falsehood, no injustice, no tricks, no nonsense come my way without being challenged vigorously and rigorously. My endeavor is for humanity and for posterity. It is more important to me to put forth the truth as I see it, than to recoil or to withdraw myself, for whatever benefits that might accrue to my silence or acquiescence to fallacy, malady or evil — the general mentality today of see no evil, say no evil and hear no evil. Or as someone allowed recently about a phony fellow, if he is not harming you, then let him. Well, that may be so if the fellow is not imposing himself or herself on the public. Humanity may as well surrender to evil! I owe my children and my grand children the substance and truth of the positions I take. There is not a question that in the annals of the Igbo liaison or attempted liaison with the Yoruba, a host of arresting stories in duplicity, treachery and outright criminality abound on the part of the Yoruba. Friendship at the level to which I referred in the preceding paragraphs — one on one relationship - is a different matter. But I have touched on the surface, horrendous incidents and danger that lurked and continue to lurk in the corner in a liaison by any especially the Igbo with the Yoruba. Again, personal relationships are a different matter. Tunde Adenodi is fully aware of the results or consequences to the Igbo of dating or even attempting to marry the Yoruba. But true to nature, Tunde Adenodi chose to foist a dilemma to confuse, to obfuscate and propagate sheer fallacies. They are not all ignoramuses that surf the web, Tunde Adenodi, not all web surfers fell for your attempt at disinformation — your stock in trade. If it is okay for the Yoruba, it is never okay for others. But if Tunde Adenodi took offense that I referred to him as a mad man, he seemed to have forgotten that in that same response to Wumi Akintinde, I had diagnosed the Yoruba that squirms neurosis and shrieks psychosis at the site or mention of Odumegwu-Ojukwu, as stricken with a peculiar Yoruba neurosis that I termed OJUNEUROYORUBAITIS — Ojuneurosis for short — Ojukwu induced neurosis that afflicts only the Yoruba. More than a rural dog that will never leave the site of excreta — anti-Igbo rant - the man is till spewing conditions to the Igbo that can only come from a brain demented, and so, here, again, I call Tunde Adenodi, a mad man; a total mad man, and I have no apology for that! Thank you, Aremu, thank you. Tunde Adenodi and his Yoruba ilk wants the Igbo to forget who they are; he wants the Igbo to stop talking about who they are. Tunde Adenodi is that insane to forget that yours truly and millions of Igbo were Biafrans, were born Biafrans and in their heart of hearts remain Biafrans for the best reasons that no Nigerian could ever counter. You and all who think like you regarding the Igbo are simply mad. Above is a breakdown take on Biafra by Richard Akinjide, a prominent, eminent lawyer, a man of sound mind and sound reasoning — who happens to be your kinsman, Tunde Adenodi, in a rare moment of honesty. Tunde Adenodi, your thoughts on Biafra is contra that of your eminent kinsman. Tunde Adenodi, your thoughts on Biafra are contra all manner of sound reasoning. Thus is it easy for me to deem you psychotic, as there exist no rational basis upon which you should take exception to Biafra and the Igbo fondness for Biafra. You cannot fool the Igbo for they know that the only Igbo person the Yoruba of your like will vote for president is a dead Igbo. I have made it clear somewhere else that the Igbo do not need to be presiding over Nigeria. I still maintain that stand even with the clamor now by some Igbo and indeed northern youths for Igbo person to be president. I do not have to be on the ground to know that the northern youths and even Wada Nas are sincere in their position. The Yoruba have not stopped talking about the one that supposedly brought the afore developments to them — their Papa Obafemi Awolowo. I have often wondered how many boxes of Voodoo this brave Yoruba son took with him to fight to stop Biafra. Tunde Adenodi might note that whereas the objects of Yoruba pride in the old west were borrowed technology, the object of Igbo pride in Biafra were home grown technology — a number of firsts in technological development by the Blackman in the black world. How does one make it clear to an irrational hater of the Igbo, the Tunde Adenodis that what they wish that the Igbo forget and stop talking about is a part of them — the Igbo - their soul. How does one stop talking about his soul? That the Yoruba sage Awolowo, gave his all in order to destroy the rearing BLACK POWER — Biafra is without a doubt. That the Yoruba sage, Awolowo, gave his all to decapitate constituents of the rearing BLACK POWER is without a doubt. That the 3 rd Marine Commando — a Yoruba Brigade, as Tunde Adenodi noted, a brigade that was at different times under the command of two different slave warriors — Benjamin Adekunle and Matthew Obasanjo — gave its all to destroy the Igbo persons and their rearing powerful entity was without a doubt. These Yoruba were armed with callous indifference and a bulk of borrowed arms - tanks, jets and assorted munitions from Russia, Britain and the Arab world to do the bidding of their master. There is not a doubt that Tunde Adenodi still acts out the emotions of Adekunle and Obasanjo — the later who swore to ensure that the Igbo does not threaten Nigeria again. But are the Igbo threatening Nigeria today? Nigeria is threatening itself, under the very nose of Obasanjo. Nigeria is crumbling as it threatens the Igbo. Nigeria is crumbling under the very nose of Obasanjo himself. Here is a case of, as the Yoruba would say: Olonwu ti nwu — God don catcham. Folks, qui serra, serra. There is not a doubt that when the long arms of justice national or international descends upon Nigeria, the Yoruba more than any other race in Nigeria will answer to the crimes in Nigeria against the Igbo - human rights crime and economic crimes against the Igbo designed and perpetrated against the Igbo by the Yoruba sage, Awolowo. A day shall come when they will toast no more their attempt at destruction of the present and future of a people. Tunde Adenodi and his ilk might respond in their usual dubious and disingenuous fashion — the Igbo live and work all over Yoruba land — or wherever else. Yes, guys, Yoruba land happens to be part of Nigeria the Yoruba fought to ensure that the Igbo rejoined. Is that not so? As far as brave minds can figure, the Yoruba has not declared Oduduwa republic yet. They have the republic still under wraps; they are afraid or too fat assed — thanks to their gains - direct, indirect and dubious gains in Nigeria — to declare their independence. There is Oduduwa republic constitution, there is Oduduwa republic flag; there is Oduduwa national anthem. Yoruba lawmakers allow as much as that Oduduwa country is around the corner, with Lagos as capital. Then I say, shout it, Oduduwa republic, folks! Who, what are you afraid of? A people that are hypocrisy personified; they have their Oduduwa republic under wraps, but they cannot stand similar ambition by others. The world must have no room for hypocrites. There has to be a basis for such reference, just as there exist basis on which Tunde Adenodi reminds me of a rural dog that could never leave the site of excreta. Many Nigerians are ill with sundry undiagnosed ailments. Many are unaware that propaganda has profound effect on the mental state of the individual. There is a disease of propaganda or propaganda disease. It is a disease that is diagnosable. One simple symptom of disease of propaganda is irrational thinking. This when the same Tunde Adenodi would rise in defense of a conspicuous failure - his kinsman — Obasanjo; this when Tunde Adenodi would rise in defense of his sage with noted human rights and economic crimes - Obafemi Awolowo. These are but clear examples or symptoms of propaganda engendered psychosis. Psychosis can also cause one to act or behave in fraudulent ways. No Igbo has written that Awolowo was Omoboriowo or Owoboriomo. No Igbo has written featuring Awolowo and Omisore on the same terrain. If Awolowo were Igbo, along with the likes of Omisore and Owoboriomo, Tunde Adenodi would certainly cast Awolowo in the negative light such as he did Odumegwu-Ojukwu. But casting Awolowo thus would have been okay for in the case of Awolowo exists provable cases of crime - economic and human rights crimes, in addition to the fact that the man was once convicted. Between Awolowo and Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Nigerians of some knowledge of history do indeed know who is the ex-convict. If Tunde Adenodi were rational, he would not have placed Odumegwu-Ojukwu and Nzeribe on the same social or political terrain. To the Tunde Adenodis, Odumegwu fought to break up Nigeria! Psychotics they are, without exception, I ask them, is Odumegwu-Ojukwu still fighting to break Nigeria? Is not Nigeria breaking up by itself? How does a fight to defend oneself from lunatics become a fight to break up a country? Only propaganda diseased minds are this irrational. What Tunde Adenodi suffers together with the majority Yoruba is classic propaganda psycho-boomerang. The Nigerian wartime propaganda evidently fashioned by the Yoruba against the Igbo and especially their leader Odumegwu-Ojukwu ended up having the best of the Yoruba. No sane observer will argue that the Yoruba loses his mind at the mention of Biafra. The Yoruba shrieks psychosis , quakes and squirms neurosis at the mention of the name Odumegwu-Ojukwu. The Yoruba loses it in both instances psychosis. But why so, when in fact the Yoruba is busy fashioning his Oduduwa republic, that one of their senators said just the other day somewhere in the U. The Igbo demand separation, and the Hausa now visualize it. But what do the Yoruba do? They sneak around, saying one thing here and a different thing there. They hide Oduduwa, their dream country in their ass. Alas, this fear of Odumegwu-Ojukwu, created by the Yoruba forms the core of the neurosis, psychosis and mental warp they suffer today. I referred to this Yoruba affliction as Ojuneuroyorubaitis. The neurosis afflicts the Yoruba in the majority, from the molue driver all the way to their Nobel Laureate — Wole Soyinka and then a good chunk of their immediate neighbor to the south — the Edo. Though Babalola seemed a bit relieved of his victimization by Nigerian government propaganda of 38 years ago, he is tended to cast Odumegwu-Ojukwu still in a latent negative light, as he did in his write up that engendered our dialogue. But unlike the likes of Tunde Adenodi, Babalola is quite redeemable. Tunde Adenodi, an ex-soldier will depart this world with a mark in his brain, a propaganda engendered irrational reaction to Odumegwu-Ojukwu and Biafra. Tunde Adenodi rose in defense of his failed, incompetent kinsman, Obasanjo, while again, taking a swipe at Odumegwu-Ojukwu — a man of impeccable pedigree and credential in military and nation building — far beyond the dream and reach of his kinsman. That was another sign of irrationality. Indeed those afflicted with the disease of propaganda are unable to recognize truth, they are unable to accept truth; they deflect truth; they abandon truth on a whim. Such in fact is the worst aspect of the disease of propaganda. It is unfortunate that a good number of the Nigerian population suffers this disease and it is unknown to them or the authorities in the land. To be fair, some Yoruba have allowed that indeed Abacha was a better leader than their kinsman, Obasanjo. Obasanjo is such a failure that even the blind can see. Indeed, I have had the opportunity to say to Nigerians gathered somewhere, a while ago, what the vaunted Yoruba diplomacy is — Deceit. When did deceit become diplomacy? The Igbo resent the most this penchant of the Yoruba. The Igbo neighbors to the north are contemptible of the Yoruba for this peculiar quality of theirs. The Yoruba immediate neighbors, the Edo and the rest tiny enclaves there do not hold the Yoruba in any better light either. Was it not a northern chieftain that allowed that Asian countries were ahead of Nigeria because they do not have a tribe called Yoruba? Why is this universal distrust of the Yoruba? It is a phenomenon that precedes Tunde Adenodi and yours truly for sure. The Yoruba exists in a different world. It is indeed correct that I wrote that the Yoruba has never engaged in a principled fight, and that is compared to the Igbo. Forget NADECO brouhaha in Europe and America; it was just that, noise. Did not Mandela demand that they, the Yoruba, return to Nigeria and fight? Only when Sani Abacha died, did they claim victory — victory over a dead body — Yoruba victory. Well, then, if my position is extrapolated to mean that I meant that the Yoruba lack principle, basic principle at that, to that I subscribe, too. So I say that the Yoruba lack basic principle. How does one suggest that one acts on high principle, when the one lacks basic principle and disputes not that he lacks basic principle? Base begats high, it cannot be the other way round. Would that be the reason then, why majority Nigerians do not and cannot figure out the Yoruba? How would MKO feel in his grave now? MKO that was so trusting and large of heart — indeed a good man. Was it not the Ogbomosho born chief thief with whom Mubashiru just signed up that deceived MKO? I think Tunde Adenodi agreed as much. I certainly have nothing against the Yoruba nation or the Yoruba person. Anyone that wonders this write-up and others on and about the Yoruba, must certainly be slow on the uptake — a fool, that is. Tunde Adenodi, should know that even an idiot recognizes a base fellow when he sees one. You cannot argue that in the space that the Yoruba shares with the Igbo, Odumegwu-Ojukwu and his people the Igbo are angels. Of the evil deeds of the Yoruba against the Igbo championed by Awolowo, Odmegwu-Ojukwu showed nothing but respect, charity and magnanimity to Awolowo to the day he died. I say that at the point Gowon reneged on his promise to Awolowo — to make him — Awolowo - president of Nigeria, a traitor met a traitor, and such is always great to behold. It does not take a rocket scientist to understand that Odumegwu-Ojukwu is made of a superior stuff. It does not require an angel to know who is on the side of God. Haters of Odumegwu-Ojukwu must know that the touch has been passed to the young Igbo - young lions, they are, 20ish, aware of their history and prepared for whatever may chance. Tunde Adenodi might recall the young South African resident Igbo that told him to go eat shit when he revealed his neurosis toward Biafra. They wish the entity to peacefully dissolve. That is the reason why Mr. Nigerian thieves and masochists, your days are numbered, more so when elder northerners are speaking up in favor of a future of separate nations from the Lugard arranged British mercantile playground. A man who is ired by basic truth, a man who is ired by demonstrable truth; a man who obfuscates truth; a man who fabricates just to accomplish an aim; an intellectual fraud who would quote one out of context in order to drive home a fraudulent point. I am not at all surprised that this man would come up with such a concept as a cover for what he truly lacks — basic principle. It is a shame. Tunde Adenodi, tell your children thus: I do not have basic principle, but I act on high principle! By the way, Paul has a PhD, a real PhD, acquired by dint of hard work and superb intellect — as readers can see by the thought he put forth against that of fraudulent, old Tunde Adenodi. And yes, Yoruba has principle and truth different from other races of the world, especially Nigerians. It is clear that Tunde Adenodi and a host of his kinsmen and Yoruba puppets that delight in attempting to discern for the Igbo must deal with their psychosis and hypocritical ways first. In doing so they will be able to come to the conclusion that they indeed have no basis in logic or morality to advice or pontificate to the Igbo on anything.
